In the next round of the DIMAQuestion series, we interviewed Katarzyna Skalska, Performance Planner at Performics.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What made you decide to take the exam?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m a person who likes to learn and keeps an open mind for new things and ideas, that\u2019s why I took part in the training course preparing for the DIMAQ exam. I saw it as an opportunity to systematise, verify, and deepen my knowledge in the field of all things digital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you think the certificate is perceived in the job market?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DIMAQ certificate both acts as proof of the acquired knowledge and supplements to the experience gained. Its idea is to inspire people to develop on a continuous, lifelong basis through recertification (the certificate has an expiry date), which is essential in such a dynamically changing area as digital marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It happens quite often that agencies themselves encourage their employees to earn certifications by specifying the must-have certificates in individual career goals, as it is gradually becoming a standard in the media industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you benefit from obtaining the certificate? What are your current plans for your career?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I mentioned earlier, the certificate is a proof of the level of one\u2019s skills and a way to test the level of one\u2019s knowledge. It also helped me learn more about subjects which I don\u2019t deal with on a daily basis, or define areas where I could benefit from some improvement. For me, the certificate is another \u2018checkpoint\u2019, another level I have managed to climb to on my own on the ladder of knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am currently working as a performance planner at Performics, part of Publicis Groupe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been involved professionally with the online world for 6 years now. I started my career with Agora SA, working as a sales and customer service specialist and later on as a regional coordinator for online services.
