But it only motivated me to act. I had been looking for a\nway to test and verify my competence in the area of digital for a couple of\nmonths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DQ: How do you think the\ncertificate is perceived in the job market?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>K.M.:<\/strong>&nbsp;I work in a smaller city \u2013 Bia\u0142ystok \u2013 and, to be honest,\nthe certificate is either little heard of or not heard of at all here. But the\nsituation is completely different when you get in touch with companies from\ne.g. Warsaw \u2013 they do value the fact of holding the certificate, which is helpful,\neven at the early stage of any talks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DQ: How did you benefit from\nobtaining the certificate? What are your current plans regarding your career?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>K.M.:<\/strong>&nbsp;First, for me it was mainly a next \u2013 official \u2013 step in my\nself-improvement in the digital domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second, it drew\nmy attention to gaps in areas I was familiar with, but not as much as I\nthought. Third, it inspired me to act and explore the online industry in more\ndetail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Karol Myszkowski \u2013&nbsp;<\/strong>Macroregional Sales Manager, Ringier Axel Springer Polska sp. z\no.o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working in the\nmedia industry since 2008. Started out in local press published by Media\nRegionalne, i.e. Kurier Poranny and Teraz Bia\u0142ystok. This was also where he\nfirst learned about online advertising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working for\nRingier Axel Springer Polska since 2011&nbsp;\u2013 involved in the process of the\ncompany\u2019s business development in East Poland, contributing to the\nestablishment of the company\u2019s branches first in Bia\u0142ystok and then in Lublin\none year later.
